Vintage Shirt Patterns
I recently purchased the Gertie Sews Vintage Casual book and can’t wait to create some of the garments such as the vintage shirt patterns. Since I am building my wardrobe I am sewing two of the 40’s Style Shirts in the book. Below is the fabric I am using and more detailed information about my sewing project.
I’m thinking about including two pairs of pants and maybe a dress in the near future. So stay tuned!
Here is the first shirt I am preparing to create.
It's cut, prepped and ready to sew!
Here is my future shirt number 2! I am thinking about adding detailed trim to this one for added character.
Supplies I’m Using
- Trim
- Interfacing

To check for the finished fit of my garment before cutting fabric I am using muslin.

Ok, it’s time to sew! Stay tuned for the finished product!
