How to make a Homemade Non-Toxic Eco-Friendly Bath Tub Cleaner

You will need:

-1 cup baking soda, in a medium sized mixing bowl
-1/2 cup liquid castile soap or Ivory soap
-5-10 drops of antibacterial essential oil, such as lavender, tea tree or rosemary (optional, but recommended for a nice smell)

Procedure:
1. Pour baking soda into a medium size bowl.
2. Add soap a little at a time, stirring continuously, until your mixture has begun to resemble frosting.
3. Mix in drops of essential oil until it smells nice & strong, but not overpowering.
4. Store in an airtight jar for up to a year.

Make your own liquid soap:

1/2 cup grated Ivory soap

1 cup to 1/2 cup of water

Boil 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water to a rolling boil.  Add the grated ivory soap until it resembles liquid soap.  Let cool then pour into a container for future use.  (grate bar soap as you would cheese)
